As your current motor insurance provider, we want to make sure you know how driving abroad after Brexit affects your cover.
If you intend to take your vehicle outside the UK after 31 January 2020, or you'll be returning after this date, you will no longer have the benefit of automatic cover and will need a Green Card.
What is a Green Card?
A Green Card is an international certificate of insurance that proves your UK motor insurance and gives you the minimum level of cover needed in the country you're visiting.
How do I get a Green Card?
As we do not deal directly with the public, you will need to contact your broker with whom you arranged the insurance and they will obtain the Green Card from us on your behalf.
It is important that you request the Green Card within plenty of time before travelling in order to ensure you are in receipt of the document, as you may be refused entry to countries outside the UK without one.
